How to Create a Price Sheet for a Spec

In this release of Noosh 5, you can create price sheets for specs for various suppliers.

To Create a Price Sheet:

  1. Click the Admin tab, and then click the My Group sub-tab.
  2. Click Spec Pricing in the Procurement and Spec Options section.

The Spec Pricing Preferences screen appears.

  1. Click Add Price Sheet... in the Price Sheets for… section.

The Create Price Sheet page appears.

  1. Select the required spec type for the new price sheet and  click Continue.

The Second Create Price Sheet page appears.

  1. Enter the price sheet name in the Price Sheet Name  field. This is a required field.
  2. Enter any other relevant details.
  3. Click Create to create the price sheet.
  4. The price sheet is created and you are returned to the Spec Pricing Preferences page where the new price sheet is displayed in the Price Sheets for… section.

Note: You can create a price sheet version for a price sheet if you want. For more, see How to Create a Price Sheet Version.

 

Working with Price Sheets

Once you have created a price sheet, you can edit, delete, and view the XML for the price sheet.

To Edit a Price Sheet:

  1. Navigate to the Spec Pricing Preferences page.
  2. Click the Edit icon beside the price sheet you want to edit.

The Edit Price Sheet page appears.

  1. Make any required changes and click Save.
  2. If you want to add a price sheet version, click Save & Add Price Sheet Version… and follow the instructions in How to Create a Price Sheet Version.

To Delete a Price Sheet:

  1. Navigate to the Spec Pricing Preferences page.
  2. Click the Delete icon beside the price sheet you want to delete.

A dialog box appears asking if you are sure you want to delete the price sheet.

  1. Click OK.

The price sheet is deleted.

To View a Price Sheet:

  1. Navigate to the Spec Pricing Preferences page.
  2. Click the View icon beside the price sheet you want to view.

The View Price Sheet page appears and displays the details for the selected price sheet.

 

How to View the XML for a Price Sheet:

  1. Navigate to the Spec Pricing Preferences page.
  2. Click the View XML icon beside the price sheet you want to view.

The XML for the selected price sheet appears in a new browser window.

How to Upload a Price Sheet

You can upload multiple price sheets as a file or as long text.

To Upload a Price Sheet:

  1. Click the Admin tab, and then click the My Group sub-tab.
  2. Click Spec Pricing in the Procurement and Spec Options section.

The Spec Pricing Preferences page appears.

  1. Click Browse in the Upload Price Sheets section and enter the path to the single XML file for the price sheet(s).
  2. Click Upload Price Sheets.

The selected price sheets are uploaded.

How to View Price Sheets XML

You can view the XML for a number of price sheets at the same time.

To View Price Sheets XML:

  1. Click the Admin tab, and then click the My Group sub-tab.
  2. Click Spec Pricing in the Procurement and Spec Options section.

The Spec Pricing Preferences page appears.

  1. Click Browse in the Upload Price Sheets section and enter the path to the single XML file for the price sheet(s).
  2. Click View Price Sheets XML.

The price sheets XML is displayed in a new browser window.

How to Create a Price Sheet Version

You can create a price sheet version for any price sheet you create.

To create a Price Sheet Version for a Price Sheet.

  1. Navigate to the Create Price Sheet page. See How to Create a Price Sheet.
  2. Click Create & Add Price Sheet Version….

The Add Price Sheet Version page appears.

  1. Enter a name for the price sheet version. This is a required field.
  2. Check the Active checkbox to make this the active  price sheet version.
  3. Enter the path to the price sheet file in the Price Sheet file field. This is a required field.
  4. If you want to view the applicable price formulas, click View applicable formulas and select the desired formula.
  5. When you have entered all the relevant information, click Add.

You are returned to the Edit Price Sheet page and the price sheet version is displayed in the Price Sheet Versions section.

  1. Click Save.

The price sheet is saved and you are returned to the Spec Pricing Preferences page where the new price sheet is displayed in the Price Sheets for… section.
