How to Create a Time Card

When you create a time card, you can either create it from scratch, or you can make a copy of an existing one.

To create a time card from scratch:

  1. Click the Time Cards sub-tab of the My Desk tab.
  2. Click Create Time Card.
  3. Enter the week for your time card.
  4. Select Add all incomplete tasks to time card if you want all incomplete tasks to appear on your time card automatically.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Choose the tasks you want to log on your time card.
  7. To add a task, click Add Tasks(s). You can use the Task filters to search for specific tasks.
    • Select the tasks to add, and click Add Selected Tasks.
    • To remove tasks, select the tasks you want to remove, click Remove Selected Lines, and click OK to confirm.
  1. To add an activity that isn't currently stored as a task in Noosh 5, click Add Other Activity, and select an activity from the activity drop-down list.
    • Edit the details of individual tasks.
  1. Enter start and complete dates.
  2. Enter the amount of hours you spent on each task this week.
  3. Click Save.

To create a new time card by copying an existing one:

  1. Click the Time Cards sub-tab of the My Desk tab.
  2. Click Copy next to the time card you want to copy.
  3. Enter the week for your time card.
  4. Select Add all incomplete tasks to time card if you want all incomplete tasks to appear on your time card automatically.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Follow steps 6-8 above to fill out your time card.
