A new permission – view all projects – has been added to client roles. Client users who have this permission will have access (view only mode) to all projects in that client workspace even if they are not part of the project teams. This permission is normally assigned to managerial level members who want to have an overview of all the projects that are in the workspace, but not necessarily be involved in every project.
Admin users can assign this permission to any client role under Admin > Roles and Groups > Client Role Group. Once this permission is enabled, that client user, when logged into the workspace, will have an option to see all available projects (Show All users Projects) or see projects that he/she has been invited to (Show My Projects).
For projects that the client user can view, but are not invited to the project team, there are limitations (view-only) to what the client user can do within these projects. He/she CANNOT add/update specs, do any buying or selling activities, upload/edit files or post messages. If he/she wants to change any aspects of the project, he/she can add him/herself to the project team.
