How to Re-Estimate an Open Bid RFE (Supplier)

After reviewing other suppliers' estimates, you may decide to provide a new quote.

Remember: To find out how much time is left to estimate the project, check Time remaining until bidding ends in the Open Bid Summary section of the RFE.

To re-estimate an Open Bid RFE:

• Navigate to the RFE.
• Review the price decrement and the rules for the price decrement and next bid that the buyer specified, if any. You will have to adhere to these when you enter your new estimate.
• Click Create Estimate.
• Enter basic information for your new estimate.
• Enter a price for your new estimate.
• If you'd like to modify the spec(s), click the  Edit icon next to the spec you'd like to edit. Enter your edits, then click Save and Return.
• Click Send Estimate.
