Noosh Group Edition allows service providers to designate primary and secondary account representatives for a site they have previously created. By doing so they can control the individuals who get notified as well as controlling access to the project.
Definitions:
Primary Account Representative: The primary servicer of projects originating from the site. By default the site creator is designated as the primary account representative. After site creation the site creator can assign any of the existing service provider users (co-workers) as a primary. When projects get submitted the primary account representative receives notifications, tasks and is also invited as a project owner.
Secondary Account Representative: Other service providers who have access to projects originating from the site. These could be team members or backup servicers of projects. When a new site gets created there is no default chosen for this role. The site creator can select one or more the available service provider users(co-workers) as a secondary. When projects get submitted the secondary account representatives get invited to the project as team members. Note: Secondary account representatives get notifications (but not tasks) assigned to them automatically
Instructions on setting up primary and secondary account representatives:
- Click on the site name to select the site
- Click on overview tab -> then click on Edit Site
3. Select one of the entries from the “Primary Account Representative” as the primary, select one or more entries from the “Secondary Account Representative” as the secondary representative.
The primary rep gets access to all projects as well as receives all tasks and notifcations. The secondary reps only get invited to projects without automatically getting notifications and tasks.
