We have re-designed the buy grid in the service provider ‘Buying’ tab with a more modern UI and added functionality, allowing users to act straight from the grid without having to go into the Buying Details page. In addition to the updated estimate grid, we have added the order information grid, which gives users a concise summary of all orders.
The estimate grid contains information about RFEs, suppliers and estimates. Directly from the grid under the Details column, users can manage suppliers and RFEs. Users can also customize their view of the estimate grid by applying filters (via the cog icon in the top right corner) to the suppliers and their corresponding estimates. The filters include, “hide suppliers with no estimate”, “hide unregistered suppliers”, “show lowest three estimates” and “show all suppliers”. The top right corner of the grid will indicate what the current filter has been selected. By default, no filter is applied to the grid.
The order information grid contains information about the final order(s) – name, specs, quanity ordered, total price and status of order. The service provider can change the status of the order as it progresses (i.e. from ‘Ordered’ to ‘Shipped’ to ‘Delivered’). The order information grid will appear only after order(s) have been awarded. The estimate information grid will also be visible with the chosen estimate(s) highlighted. The service provider can also cancel an order straight from this grid.
