As a continuation of our roll-out of the “Spec-based automatic invitation” feature, users can now invite users to the project whenever a spec is added or copied to an existing project.
Admin users can create/manage rules under Admin > Account Settings > Automation. To add a rule, admin users need to specified the targets (workspace and specs), the triggers and the actions required for automatic invitation. Once a rule is created, it will be listed under the automation tab.
Currently, automation rules are applied (ie. users are invited automatically) whenever the following scenario occurs:
- When a project is created containing one of the specs listed within the workspace specified in the targets
- When a user copies one of the specs that were listed in the targets within an existing project
- When a user adds a spec that is listed in the targets to an existing project
