On September 11, the “Selling Tab” on the service provider side was updated in functionalities and styles to match those of the “Buying Tab”. In addition to having clear indication of the statuses of orders and quotes, users can easily perform certain actions such as “cancel order”, “retract quote” and “revise quote” without going into the details section.
Similar to the “Buying Tab”, the “Selling Tab” will have two different sections/grids – Quote Information and Order Information. The Quote Information section displays all available specs within the project that are available to be quoted and their respective quoting statuses. Any specs that have rate card associated with them will be indicated as such. Once a spec has been ordered, it will be displayed both in the Order Information and the Quote Information sections. If all specs in the Quote Information had been ordered, then the grid will be collapsed and users can manually expanded to see more details.
In the “Status” column, whether in the Order Information or the Quote Information grids, various actions can be performed to the order, quote or spec when hovered over the “Status” section. If an order has been created, the users can cancel that order. If a quote has been sent to client for acceptance, the users can revise or retract the quote. If a spec is not yet created, the users can create a quote or an order, if the spec has a rate card associated with it.
