With the addition of this functionality on September 4, all changes made during the customization of any smart forms will be periodically saved by Noosh. Users who are working on customizing a particular smart form will not have to worry about losing any data or changes if the “Edit Smart Form” pop-up closes unexpectedly before the users had a chance to manually clicking on the “Save” button.
Auto-save occurs 3 seconds after a change has been made to the customization tab of a smart form. Indications at the top-right corner of the smart form denotes when the smart form was last saved. If no changes have been made for any period of time while the customization tab was opened, auto-save smart forms will not occur. In addition, any customization on any individual fields (ie, Set Cell Attributes) cannot be automatically saved.
When creating a brand new smart form, users need to manually save the smart form once before auto-save can occur. If for whatever reason, a smart form cannot be saved automatically, standard Noosh error message will point users to the problematic fields.
