With this enhancement Outsourcer workgroups will have the ability to specify a quote validity period for each individual client, and if you choose, what status the quote should change to once the expiration date has passed. Once the validity period is set, the expiration date will auto-calculate, then auto-populate when creating your quote.
This value is set up on the My Group > Clients page by clicking on the edit pencil for the client (online clients only), and you will see your entry in the # of Days Quote Valid column:
Once the value is set, when creating your quote, the Quote Expiration Date field will auto-populate with the date based on the number of days after the current date (quote create date). You can manually override the populated date, if needed:
Note: If the quote is saved as a draft and you come back on a later date, the auto-populated date will not recalculate, and will need to be manually edited.
You can also determine whether the status of the quote should be 'Rejected' or 'Retracted' once the expiration date passes. This is set up on the My Group > Quote page. If you check the box 'Automatically change quote status after quote expiration date,' an additional option will open to select the status and enter an optional reason:
