This version of My Desk will give you more ways to personalize your view to see things that are important to you. The goal is to provide a visual summary of what is happening with your projects in a way that makes it easy to determine what needs attention.
ACTIVITY
The Activity deskoid is a real-time ticker of all activities within your workgroup. It will display up to 8 activities based on your filter and if you have accessibility to that project.
It is a combination of the former Project Activities deskoid and the Events list. Each entry will display the person who performed the activity, their workgroup, when the activity occurred, and the detail of the activity.
The Activity entries are color coded for each event:
The project name and/or the procurement object name will have hyperlinks to bring you directly to the details page for that item.
Depending on the activity there might be actions you can perform from the activity section. In the example below you can revise or recall the RFE you sent:
Filters: once you select a filter it will display the 8 most recent activities regarding that object. The View All button will direct you to the My Group > Events list page.
WIDGETS
You can choose up to 6 widgets to display in this section. In most cases, hover over any hyperlinked item within the widget to display a pop-up of the details, which you can then click on to bring you to the page for that item. Some widgets also have filters to look at a specific time range.
Use the Manage Widgets button to customize to your preference. The widgets that are available to you will depend on your workgroup type. Pin the widget to add it to your view, and use the 6 dots to move the widget's position:
We'll take a closer look at each widget.
Messages: will display the number of Unread and the number of Follow-up messages. Hover over the title to display a pop-up of the message subject and the project name the message is from.
Pending: lists orders, change orders, and invoices in a pending status. Can be filtered by Today, Next 7 days, or Next 14 days.
Due: lists orders, estimates, invoices, and tasks based on due Today, Next 7 days, or Next 14 days.
Project Status: displays the number of projects with each status.
Hover over the graph and click to bring you to the Workspace > Projects list for those projects:
Or hover over the status title to display a pop-up list of the projects with that status:
Order Status: like project status, lists the number of orders with each status. Hover over the graph and click to bring you to the Workspace > Orders list for those orders, or hover over the status to display a pop-up list of the orders with that status:
Invoice: a comparison of what you have ordered and invoiced within a timeframe (2 weeks, 30, 60, or 90 days). The arch in whole represents all orders that have been accepted and the invoices that have been created against those orders. The green section is what you have invoiced and the orange section is what you have not invoiced. This will also display the number of orders and invoices there are for the timeframe. Hover over any part of the widget to get more details.
Overdue: uses the last 30 days of data and displays anything that is past completion or expiration date and is not finished - if you have orders that are not closed or not accepted by the order completion date, or if you have invoices that are not accepted by the invoice date. Hover over the items to get more details.
If there is an item you wish to exclude, hover over the heading (Tasks, for instance) and click the dash next to the item:
You will get a confirmation box to exclude the item from your overdue count:
Orders by Suppliers: takes your overall orders within a timeframe and displays a breakdown by supplier. You can visualize if you favor certain suppliers, or if your orders are evenly distributed across all suppliers.
Hover over a section of the pie chart for the order number and price that section represents - each slice is proportional to the quantity it represents. Hover over a supplier and it will list all orders for that supplier; click on the order to bring you to the order details page.
This widget can be filtered by accept date or closed date within a timeframe (2 weeks, 30, 60, or 90 days).
Projects
The Projects list displays 10 projects, and can be filtered by Recently Viewed, Recently Created, Recently Update, Hot Projects, and Due in the next 7 days.
The project name, project number, status, and completion date can be edited inline:
The columns can be selected and rearranged to suit your needs. Click the three dots, then Manage Columns:
Pin the column to add it to your view, and use the 6 dots to move the column's position (max 8 columns):
Each section includes all Noosh standard fields and user fields as your columns - not custom fields.
