The features below will be available in production after our product release on the evening of May 28.
In this document:
Save Change Order as Draft
With this enhancement, the user will have the ability to save a change order or closing change order as a draft, in the same way the user can save an original order as a draft. Both the buyer and supplier can create independent draft change orders/closing change orders.
When creating your change order, at the bottom of the page you'll see the Save Draft button:
Once created, the draft order will be displayed in the order list with the status Draft. The draft order is not visible to the other party, and any value change is not included in the Project Total Accepted or Project Total Accepted / Pending lines:
The user can create as many change order drafts as needed (only one closing change order draft is permitted). Once a draft change order, with changes to a spec item, has been turned into a change order, any other draft change orders containing changes to that spec item will be deemed invalid.
On the order list page, any invalid draft change order will be indicated as such. If the user clicks into an invalid draft change order, an error will also display:
Any value change will be displayed in the Project Total Accepted or Project Total Accepted / Pending lines after the draft is converted to an order:
Export Order Details to Excel
Users can now export order details to Excel. The Excel output will contain the order, order item, and shipping details.
This can be performed from the Order List page, under the cog:
Or at the bottom of the order details page using the Export to Excel button:
Last Order Item Price
The details displayed are: Last Order Name (with link to navigate to that order), Last Order Price (Unit), Last Order Qty, and Last Order Date. The Last Order Price is the aggregate price of "Accepted" orders at the time the spec is copied.
Below is how the details will be displayed on the spec header:
When viewing an RFE, the last order item details box will give you a comparative view of submitted estimates:
When creating an order - from either an Estimate or a Quick Order - the last order item box is displayed next to each line item spec, if applicable:
