Make Supplier Selection Reason Mandatory
Your Noosh Admin can now make Supplier Selection Reasons mandatory when placing Orders. To configure this your Admin should navigate to My Group > Procurement Options > Selection Reasons:
When the Selection Reasons page loads you can set the Selection Reason to Mandatory by clicking "Edit Preferences" and changing the preference to "Yes".
Note: If your Noosh instance has been previously customized to make Supplier Selection Reasons mandatory no action is needed on your part. We will automatically set this new preference for you.
File Manager: Add Project Number to Project Name
This enhancement provides users with faster and easier identification of the project number that owns a given file. No configuration or action is needed on the part of the user to enable this, the file descriptions will now include the project number at the end of the project name.
To see this new feature in action, navigate to the Files Manager page:
Once in the File Manager page, you can search for Files by a number of different attributes:
After your search completes, you will see the results, with the Project Number now appended to the end of the Project Name:
New native MS Excel format option when saving reports
You now have the option to create a native excel file when saving reports, the "MS Excel" format.
This eliminates the challenge that Excel raises when it detects that the internal format of the file created when you choose the existing "Excel" format does not match a native XLS file. It's also a bit more convenient since you won't need to "Save As" XLS or XLSX when you make changes to a report and then want to save those changes.
Using the new format is easy, just choose it from either the "Run" menu when running reports directly:
Or, choose it from the Preview menu when previewing reports in the report writer tool:
Finally, when you schedule a report you will be able to choose the new format in the Schedule tab:
